West Lancs Canine Centre (Est 1989)
Owner January 2010 – Present
West Lancs Canine Centre is a family business founded by Guy Richardson in 1989, I assumed the role of owner 21 years later, however, I have worked in the business from 2003 both part and full time.
In 1992, aged five, I took my first dog training, Kurt – a German Shepherd. Over the next nine years I travelled all over the UK with the West Lancs Dog Display team, demonstrating pet dog handling techniques to crowds ranging from 20 – 20,000 people. This time gave me a passion for dogs unrivalled by anything I was interested in at the time. When Kurt retired I went on to assist the dog display team whilst helping out at the canine centre on classes.
West Lancs Canine Centre offers a range of services from puppy classes to one-on-one dog training lessons and day training.
This environment has enabled me to learn everything I needed to know as a dog trainer and behaviourist, thus developing my true passion and interest, understanding the social differences in dogs: www.dogtrainer.co.uk
